Around the game

From Super Bowl week

Years of on-site coverage: talent hits, fan moments, and quick questions cut for the channels. Rob also turns up as an extra in two FanDuel Super Bowl commercials, way in the back, don't blink or you'll miss him.

The signature moment

Kick of Destiny

It started with three words. In December 2022 Gronkowski posted "I'm kind of bored," a tweet that pulled nearly 70,000 likes, had two NFL teams calling his agent within a day, and made national news, then he revealed on Up & Adams that it was the teaser for his FanDuel partnership. That partnership became Kick of Destiny: FanDuel's back-to-back Grand Clio winning live Super Bowl campaign, three years running. Rob ran the live broadcast side and the social cuts around the moment. The full Kick of Destiny page has the origin story and all three years in one place.

The takeover

Gronk runs the @FanDuel account

During Super Bowl LIX week, Rob was hands-on running FanDuel's X account for a live Gronk "Ask Me Anything." A promo giveaway pulled hundreds of fan questions, a hype post handed Gronk the keys, and Gronk answered the best ones on camera through the night. More on the Gronk page.
